There are rare occasions when critters 'play' with others who bravely venture into their territory. Miss Daisy is no exception. If allowed (like Oliver), she'd explore and roam all over the place. They wouldn't go that far, but at times I think they'd go a lot farther if we didn't keep a close watch. Or if we lived where they would be safer to roam at will . . .
Well, I guess not - they don't have front claws, plus they haven't been 'far afield' because they're indoor cats.
However, when "minding her own business" on a her own property right next to the back door on our shaded deck, Miss Daisy IS innocent. She didn't provoke. She didn't taunt or tease.
And the following evidence is submitted to prove her case.
